Northfield Township Clerk Patricia Lechner is passionate about giving back to the community. She was first elected as Clerk in 2013. An alumna of the University of Illinois, Patricia has lived in Northbrook for 31 years where she and her late husband Larry raised five daughters and one son. She is a former North Suburban YMCA Board member, a board member for a program helping disadvantaged children with mentoring, tutoring, and financing tuition; a Northbrook Rotary Paul Harris Fellow; a 30-year volunteer at Northbrook Rotary Fourth of July Pancake Breakfast at the Village Green; a 31-year parishoner of St. Norbert Parish.

"I am so proud of our current Township team for consecutively lowering our levy and being frugal with taxpayer’s money," Lechner said. "And I could not be more proud of our Northfield Township residents for their tremendous generosity to our Northfield Food Pantry. In tough times, our entire community pitched in to help their neighbors, and that is why I love serving you as Clerk of Northfield Township."
